Prof. Dr. Michael Markert and his team developed ideas and concepts for an interactive exhibition for the presentation of artworks for the 11th xCoAx 2023 Conference on Computation, Communication, Aesthetics & X. An interdisciplinary team of students of Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts crafted prototypes for the extended hybrid media arts exhibition of the esteemed international festival and conference, centering on the latest technologies for hybrid spatial computing.

The final exhibition application was later designed and realized by Prof. Jason Reizner who also hosted this year’s conference together with the xCoAx team. The experimental prototypes of the module have offered valuable insights into current technologies and artistic strategies of implementing new hybrid interfaces.
Prof. Dr. Michael Markert is a member of the xCoAx scientific committee since 2020.
