Michael Markert is teaching and researching as Professor for Designbasics, Interaction and Digital Transformation in Integrated Product Design at University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Coburg, Germany. He was Vertretungsprofessor for the chair of Interface Design at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Visiting Professor at UB Buffalo, State University of New York. He lectured at UdK Universität der Künste Berlin, Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg, Burg Giebichenstein Halle and other Universities and Design Schools.
